Salt Lake blooms with color as summer nears in North China

As temperatures rise in recent days, various bright colors appear on the surface of the Salt Lake in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, presenting unique and gorgeous scenery in the summer.
Separated by a cross-lake road, different colorful sections appear, the result of various chemical elements in the water and green algae.
When viewed from the air, the lake could be mistaken for a color palette.
In recent years, the city is striving to implement the ecological restoration project, including "returning salt to the lake" and "returning the lake to the residents", which greatly improve local ecological environment.
