Shanxi province's members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) submitted 125 proposals to the CPPCC National Committee during the fifth session of the CPPCC National Committee in Beijing from March 4 to 10.

The proposals included 20 joint proposals and 104 individual ones, 67 and 21 percent more than last year, respectively.

The 21 CPPCC National Committee members from Shanxi proposed ideas focusing on the government work report's critical tasks and the province's status quo, fulfilling their roles as national political advisers.
