The Shanxi delegation to the ongoing fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) in Beijing held a meeting on March 4 to discuss and formulate suggestions. 

The delegation made suggestions related to supporting Shanxi's transformation from a traditional energy province into a new comprehensive energy province, starting construction on the Changzhi-Handan-Liaocheng High-speed Railway, and promoting the environmental protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River basin through reform and innovation. 

The suggestions also involve building a national integrated computing network in Shanxi, supporting Shanxi's construction of a national demonstration zone for industrial transfers in its southeastern region, and launching the passenger transport capacity improvement project of the Taiyuan railway hub.
