Intl youth bless Beijing Winter Olympics with paintings

Paintings wishing good luck in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics by international youth are currently on display in North China's Shanxi province.
The international youth painting exhibition hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanxi Provincial Government and Shanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries started in the Shanxi Library on Jan 25.
It aims to carry forward the Olympic spirit, encourage Chinese and foreign youth to interpret the Olympic spirit in painting, promote artistic exchanges among international youth, and wish people good luck in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

The exhibition is divided into domestic and foreign exhibition areas. Students from the provincial capital of Taiyuan contributed to the domestic part, while the foreign part was carried out by youth from Shanxi's sister provinces and states, overseas friendship organizations with China, and international schools.
A total of 149 pictures from 13 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, Italy, and Australia, are on display.
The exhibition is being held both online and offline, and the offline exhibition will run until Feb 28.
