Shanxi to further education cooperation with South Jeolla in South Korea

Education departments of North China's Shanxi province and South Jeolla Province in South Korea held a video meeting on mutual basic education exchanges on Dec 8.
The two sides briefly reviewed their history of friendly exchanges in education in recent years, and carried out negotiations on further strengthening educational and cultural cooperation.
During the meeting, representatives from eight elementary and middle schools in Shanxi and South Jeolla signed sister-school agreements and established cooperative relations.
The year 2022 marks the 5th anniversary of cooperation between the two provinces. The two will further improve cooperation mechanisms and promote cooperation in teacher and student exchanges, school operations, training, talent cultivation and research.
