The recently-held third Global Jin-merchantry Forum in Shanghai proved successful, according to the event's organizing committee on Nov 15.

The forum held on Nov 5 and 6 helped enterprises in North China's Shanxi province carry out business matchmaking with tech innovation enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor and improved the profile of Shanxi merchants.

A total of 18 events were held during the forum, which attracted 15.08 million online participants, and 50 investment projects with a contract amount of 37.6 billion yuan ($5.90 billion) were promoted and signed.

Branches of the Shanxi Private Economic Promotion Association signed strategic cooperation agreements with 11 provincial chambers of commerce in Shanghai during the forum.
