North China's Shanxi province hopes to realize handling all corporate and individual taxes and fees online within this year.

According to plans to deepen the reform of tax collection and administration issued on Sept 18, the province will comprehensively improve tax payment methods, promote a transition from offline to online taxation, expand "non-contact" tax payment services, and connect the electronic tax bureau with integrated government service platforms in Shanxi.

It will continue to promote the simplification of taxation procedures and documents and reduce handling time, providing taxpayers with packaged services. 

Next year, Shanxi hopes to realize the intelligent collection and sorting of tax information for legal persons and natural persons.
