The Shanxi Department of Commerce recently issued a notice to upgrade trade in services and commerce service sectors in North China's Shanxi province.

The notice regulates 18 detailed measures in three aspects: promoting the innovation and development of trade in services, improving the quality and efficiency of commerce service, and supporting the development of key projects in the trade in services and commerce service sectors. 

Shanxi will advance the construction of cultural export bases and traditional Chinese medicine export bases. 

In terms of commerce service improvements, the province will develop key catering enterprises and more high-quality cuisine varieties, hold festivals featuring local food – such as 2021 China Shanxi Wheaten Food Cultural Festival, and strengthen the operation management of domestic services and development of domestic service companies.
