The featured product trade fair of the 12th Expo Central China held in Shanxi province from May 21 to 23 saw the signing of 206 projects with a total contract amount of 13.89 billion yuan ($2.16 billion). 

The fair expanded the sales channels of Shanxi's featured products and furthered the province's exchanges and cooperation with other provinces through exhibitions, promotions, negotiations, business matchmaking and transactions.

During the fair, Shanxi invited 353 domestic and foreign enterprises to negotiate and sign contracts with local enterprises, which promoted investment and cooperation in the fields of high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, new generation information technology, food, Shanxi herbal tea, and intangible cultural heritage products.
