As the May Day holiday approaches, tourist attractions in North China's Shanxi province will launch different themed holiday activities and preferential policies, giving tourists more travel options and improving their travel experience.

Many scenic spots that have been closed for upgrades, including water parks, hot springs and historical sites with a revolutionary legacy, have chosen May Day as their reopening date.

The May Day holiday runs from May 1-5.

The 30,000-square-meter Lyuliang Xiaoyi Dream Sea Indoor Hot Spring Water Park will reopen on May 1. It has more than 40 amusement activities such as water slides and rafting.
