A launch ceremony for Shanxi Jiade Cross-Straits Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center was held in Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone in Shanxi province on Jan 12. 

The establishment aims to promote the cross-Straits integration of industries, technologies and talent and build a bridge for joint development. The center will also allow Taiwan and coastal Taiwan-funded enterprises to start businesses and invest in Shanxi, helping Shanxi's transformation and growth. 

The center will build a platform for comprehensive cooperation, investment and entrepreneurship development and exchange between Shanxi and Taiwan. It will provide support for investment, entrepreneurship, employment, schooling and living in Shanxi, as well as open Taiwan's market for high-quality agricultural products and cultural tourism in Shanxi. 

The ceremony also saw the signing of agreements on the Cross-Straits Youth Entrepreneurship Incubators Alliance and the launch of cross-Straits entrepreneurship and talent cultivation programs.

After the ceremony, entrepreneurs from Shanxi and Taiwan carried out online discussions on new investments, project matchmaking and business introductions between the two regions.
