National political advisers in Shanxi submit 73 proposals

Shanxi province's 22 members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) submitted 73 proposals during the third session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, held in Beijing on May 21-27.

Among the 73 proposals, four were jointly proposed by all the 22 members.

These involved the optimization of poverty-alleviation policies designed to target poor senior citizens, the construction of Taiyuan-Suide Passenger Dedicated Railway Line, the listing of Shanxi as a national demonstration province for organic dryland farming and the construction of Guxian Water Conservation Project on the Yellow River.

Over the past few days, the national political advisers from Shanxi also tabled 12 pieces of information concerning people's concerns and opinions to the CPPCC National Committee.
