Shanxi Health Commission reported zero additional confirmed novel coronavirus pneumonia cases in Shanxi province on Feb 23, according to local officials. 

As of midnight on Feb 23, Shanxi had reported 132 confirmed cases and 12 suspected cases including four added suspected infections. 

Officials said a total of 88 patients have been cured and discharged from hospital and 44 are still receiving isolated treatment, including one under intensive care. 

To date, 4,114 close contacts of confirmed cases have been traced, with 274 under medical observation. 

According the current increasingly improved situation and related national regulations, from Feb 24 Shanxi Provincial Government decided to adjust its first-level emergency response, the highest level, to second-level in prevention and control the epidemic.
