Shanxi province recently officially recognized 10 businesses as provincial intelligent manufacturing demonstration companies of 2019, according to the Shanxi Department of Industry and Information Technology on Nov 28. 

Another eight companies were recognized as provincial intelligent manufacturing pilot companies for the year. 

In recent years, Shanxi has drawn up and enacted various preferential policies to support intelligent manufacturing in 12 industries including coking, electrical power, mechanical equipment and advanced rail transportation equipment. 

Currently, Shanxi is home to 16 provincial intelligent manufacturing demonstration companies and 21 provincial intelligent manufacturing pilot companies.
