Photos from Silk Road nations go on show in Taiyuan
A traveling exhibition of select photographic works of Silk Road countries opened at Taiyuan Art Museum in Taiyuan city on Aug 11 and runs to Aug 24.
It is being hosted by Beijing World Art Museum, the China Artistic Photography Society and the working committee of the Silk Road Youth International Photography Competition.
The exhibition, which has now been staged in several cities, aims to promote appreciation of folk art from the Silk Road countries and the multicultural diversity and innovation among the Belt and Road countries, and boost interest in photographic images from home and abroad.
The Taiyuan leg of the exhibition is the one with the most works on show since the floating exhibition was launched. More than 220 photographs, selected from 160,000 pictures from 52 countries, are on display in the city.
