A Shanxi culture and tourism promotion -- targeting athletes participating in the 2nd National Youth Games and more than 60 media groups -- was held in Taiyuan on Aug 9. 

Sponsored by the organizing committee of the 2nd National Youth Games, the Shanxi Daily and Shanxi Sports Industry Group, the promotion was themed on attracting more visitors to local scenic spots and for visitors to take part in entertainment programs during the national sports event. 

Representatives of 11 cities and eight tourist attractions in Shanxi province attended the promotion.
