The triathlon finals of the 2nd National Youth Games were held in Ruicheng county, Shanxi province, from Aug 2 to 5. 

This is the first time the National Youth Games has included a triathlon event. In order to attract more young people to the program, the organizing committee has set up a sports school and social clubs for participants. 

The finals consisted of 12 men's and women's individual and mixed swimming, cycling, and running events. 

A total of 218 athletes from across the country took part in the finals. 

Twenty-four gold medals were given out after the finals, three of which were given to Shanxi teams.
