Punches, kicks and kimonos flew as the karate finals of the 2nd National Youth Games were staged in Linfen city, in Shanxi province, between Aug 2 and 6. 

More than 570 athletes in 93 teams from 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across China, competed for gold medals in 52 karate events.
