Shanxi won 46 gold medals for winter events of the 2nd National Youth Games. 

The last winter event, curling and dry-land curling, concluded in Tianjin on July 30. The Taiyuan Sports School and Lyuliang Sports School won two gold, one silver, and one bronze medals in the curling and dry-land curling finals. 

Among the 46 gold medals, 24 were for skiing, 13 for skating, and three for the Biathlon.
