The Datong city section of the torch relay of the 2nd National Youth Games was carried out between June 28 and 30.

A total of 150 torchbearers ran 13.5 kilometers during the three-day relay passing through local Yungang Grottoes scenic area, Hunyuan and Lingqiu counties. 

Datong city undertook winter sports events including snowboarding of the 2nd National Youth Games early this January.
