The Jinzhong city section of the torch relay for the 2nd National Youth Games started in the local Yunzhu Lake scenic area, Yushe county, on June 13, following torch relays across the cities of Yuncheng, Linfen, Jincheng and Changzhi. 

The relay in the city will pass through eight local counties and districts and last until June 17, with 250 torchbearers from all walks of life taking part and each running 100 meters. 

Post office stations, themed on the national youth games, will be set up along the torch relay route in eight local counties and districts to provide postal services for the youth games and sell souvenirs to local residents. 

Jinzhong city will hold handball, road cycling race, basketball, volleyball, water polo and judo events for the 2nd National Youth Games to open in Shanxi province in August.
