The Yungang Grottoes, a distinguished World Cultural Heritage site, continues to captivate international visitors with its extraordinary charm. Foreign tourists are welcomed with top-tier services, including expert English-speaking tour guides. 

The Yungang Grottoes is enhancing its environment and service quality to showcase its exceptional beauty. The influx of foreign tourists has steadily increased since China's recent relaxation of its 240-hour visa-free transit policy. In response, the site has rolled out a suite of services tailored to international guests. 

These enhancements include installing equipment that accepts foreign bank cards, providing multilingual tour guides, English signage, and on-site English consultation services. An English version of the ticket reservation system is also available online. 

The Tourist Service Center now houses a Yungang Grottoes Immigration Service Station, offering visa appointments, emergency assistance, and travel consultation for international visitors. 

Since the start of this year, the site has been intensifying English training for its frontline staff members to better serve the growing number of global tourists. Comprehensive English training has been conducted for tour guides, security personnel, cleaners, ticket sellers, and other key roles. This training incorporates real-life scenarios to enhance practical English communication skills, ensuring staff can effectively engage with foreign visitors. 

In 2024, the Yungang Grottoes welcomed 4.42 million visitors. To protect cultural relics and improve the experience, the site has implemented a daily cap of 46,000 visitors. As of March 15, same-day ticket reservations are no longer available; tickets can be booked up to seven days in advance via the official platform. 

By upholding stringent cleanliness and beautification standards, implementing grid management, and ensuring regular maintenance, the Yungang Grottoes guarantees a pristine and pleasant environment for all visitors.
