The 2023 New Year's Concert in Datong, North China's Shanxi province, was held at the Datong Grand Theater on Dec 28. 

The concert was hosted by Datong's municipal authorities. It was jointly performed by the orchestra from the Datong Song and Dance Theater and the Tianjin Symphony Orchestra. Audience members enjoyed Chinese and foreign classical works. The concert included solo singing performances, poetry reading, piano concerto, and orchestral music.
