Some 100 domestic and overseas well-known experts, academics, agricultural insiders, and environmental experts discussed how the technology used in organic agriculture is progressing, as well as organic dry land farming.

A display of rural cultural creative artworks and an exhibition of organic agricultural products were also held during the two-day forum.

In recent years, Datong has supported the development of organic dry land farming, and made significant achievements in the production and processing of Astragalus, daylily, herbal tea, organic grains, and organic fruits and vegetables, laying a solid foundation for the high-quality and efficient development of agriculture and rural revitalization.

Datong's Lingqiu county has become a demonstration area for the development of organic agriculture, the improvement of rural environments and the increase of farmers' income.
