The city of Datong in North China's Shanxi province held a business seminar in Shanghai during the 4th China International Import Expo on Nov 5-10. 

The city's Datong Economic and Technological Development Zone, Yungang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zuoyun Economic and Technological Development Zone, and Xinrong Economic and Technological Development Zone gave presentations at the seminar. 

The Datong bureau of commerce said at the event that Datong is an open city with a long history, unique location, abundant resources, strong transportation infrastructure, and an excellent environment.

It hopes to attract entrepreneurs in the fields of big data, new materials, new energy, equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, general aviation, wool textiles, cultural tourism, and agricultural product processing, and to help the city achieve a higher level of openness. 

More than 40 enterprises from outside Shanxi conducted project matchmaking with development zones in Datong, and successfully signed four projects with the government of Xinrong and Pingcheng districts and the Datong Economic and Technological Development Zone.
