Taking advantage of the 4th China International Import Expo, Datong in North China's Shanxi province held an investment promotion and matchmaking conference targeting the Yangtze River Delta region in Shanghai on Nov 6.

More than 50 business representatives from Datong and the Yangtze River Delta region attended the conference. 

Datong attendees introduced the city's history, location, economic development, and business environment to Yangtze River Delta enterprises.

Representatives of the Datong Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Xinrong Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Zuoyun Economic and Technological Development Zone made keynote investment promotion recommendations at the event. 

A number of companies in the Yangtze River Delta region expressed a desire for in-depth cooperation discussions with and investigations into Datong.
