The "Cossack" electric locomotive, tailored by CRRC Datong Co based in Datong city, a subsidiary of rail transit equipment supplier CRRC Corp, for the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine, made its debut at the Fifth Rail Expo in Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, on Oct 20-22.

The electric locomotive fits the local cultural landscape and rail transit in Ukraine, is able to adapt to complex climates and features intelligent operation and maintenance.

Ukraine is an important part of economic and cultural exchange between Asia and Europe and an important regional market for CRRC Corp in Europe. 

In recent years, CRRC Datong Co has seized opportunities for the development of the global rail transportation equipment industry, and provided more convenient and intelligent integrated transportation solutions for countries and regions around the world. 

At the Rail Expo, the company participated in the international specialized exhibition on behalf of CRRC Corp and along with five other Chinese companies, showing the world the latest railway transportation products, including freight locomotives, intercity subways and electric multiple units and related technologies of CRRC Corp.
