The Datong Sculpture Museum -- based in Datong city in North China's Shanxi province -- signed a cooperation agreement with Education Finland on March 20, in a partnership aiming to improve the aesthetic and humanist literacy of students and promote the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education.

Education Finland is a joint venture of a foundation directly under Finland's Ministry of Education and Culture. It employs marketing to promote Finnish education in China and has a strong social influence in camp education, physical education and aesthetic education.

For its part, the Datong Sculpture Museum, currently the only museum specializing in sculpture in China, gathers examples of artistic creation, research and public aesthetic education from around the country. 

The two sides will use the China National Youth Sculpture Exhibition as the medium to jointly promote various art education programs with sculpture as its main theme. They will promote the international and professional development of Chinese sculpture art education, as well as help the national youth sculpture exhibition to continue to expand its international influence. 

Meanwhile, the partners will reportedly innovate and develop art education products, fully integrate international advanced education concepts and education platforms and promote online education, study tour education and vocational education.
