Yangquan opens new coach station

The new Yangquan Coach Station went into operation on Nov 3 in Yangquan city in North China's Shanxi province.

The new passenger terminal is located on the east side of Ningbo North Road. It has facilities for long-distance passenger transportation, vehicle maintenance and testing, logistics distribution and parking, among other things.

The station's departure lounge covers 20,000 square meters. Its coach parking lot covers around 34,000 sq m, with 146 parking bays.

Apart from basic facilities such as waiting seats and drinking water fountains, there are also convenience facilities such as maternity rooms, business areas and small article storage areas. 

The station has so far opened 46 operating routes, including 17 interprovincial transportation routes and operates 240 passenger buses, according to the head of the passenger terminal. 

The opening of the new station is of great significance to the development of the city's regional economy, its expansion of space for urban development and improvements to its transport infrastructure.
