It plans to observe traffic restrictions on motor vehicles driving on roads in some administrative areas of the city, in accordance with the law, during the national college entrance examination and the high school entrance examination period.

According to a news conference conducted by the Taiyuan traffic police department, the traffic restriction period will be from 07:00-18:00 on June 7, 8, 20, 21 and 22 -- to ensure the safe and timely transportation of examination candidates.

During the implementation of traffic restriction management, vehicles that pick up candidates for the college entrance examination and the high school entrance examination must have a photocopy of the candidate's admission ticket – printed on A4 paper – attached to the lower right corner of the front windshield of the vehicles, allowing them to enter.

All public buses in the city will be free for candidates.
