Taiyuan recently opened seven new special bus lines that connect to Metro Line 2.

The newly opened bus lines are named G1 to G7 and connect areas not served by Metro Line 2 with the subway system. These areas are: North University of China, North China High-tech Development Zone, Taiyuan South Railway Station, Wusu International Airport, and Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone.

Here is information about the seven lines:

The G1 bus line (North University of China – Dabeimen Metro Station) extends 28.25 kilometers and the fare is 1 yuan ($0.15). The first and last departure times are 6:00 am and 6:00 pm, respectively, and the interval between buses is 30 to 50 minutes.

The G2 bus line (North China High-tech Development Zone – Jiancaoping Metro Station) is 12.3 km in length and the fare is 1 yuan. The first bus leaves at 7:00 am and the last bus departs at 6:15 pm, and the interval between buses is 20 to 40 minutes. 

The G3 bus line (Taiyuan South Railway Station – Longxingjie Metro Station) extends 7.5 km and the fare is 1 yuan. The first and last departure times are 7:00 am and 6:30 pm, respectively, and the interval between buses is 15 to 20 minutes. 

The G4 bus line (Nanzhonghuan Metro Station – Wusu International Airport) extends 10 km and the fare is 1 yuan. The first and last departure times are 6:30 am and 8:30 pm, respectively, and the interval between buses is 15 to 30 minutes.

The G5 bus line (Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone – Kangningjie Metro Station) is 6 km in length and the fare is 1 yuan. The first bus leaves at 7:00 am and the last bus departs at 8:00 pm, and the interval between buses is 15 to 30 minutes. 

The G6 bus line (Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone – Tongdajie Metro Station) extends 6.25 km and the fare is 1 yuan. The first bus leaves at 7:00 am and the last bus departs at 8:30 pm, and the interval between buses is 15 to 20 minutes.

The G7 bus line (Nanzhonghuan Metro Station – intersection of Tanghuai Road and Zhengyang Street) extends 11.2 km and the fare is 1 yuan. The first and last departure times are 6:00 am and 8:00 pm, respectively, and the interval between buses is 15 to 20 minutes.
