The 6th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair taking place on Oct 19-23 at the Shanxi Xiaohe International Convention Center in Taiyuan is bustling with visitors.

This year's fair is focusing on modern display methods as well as digital technologies like virtual reality and artificial intelligence. By combining naked-eye 3D technology with digital surveying, 3D modeling, and cloud rendering, immersive cultural experience spaces are created to make the the exhibitions more impactful.

The fair consists of four main themed exhibition halls. The Specialty Hall (C2) mainly showcases private cultural enterprises in Shanxi, highlighting new achievements in cultural technology, cultural heritage preservation, film and animation, cultural creativity, crafts, and intangible cultural heritage inheritance in the province.

The Creative Consumption Hall (C1) features over 140 booths, with exhibitors selected from more than 10 provinces across China.

Within the halls, the exhibition area of each city in Shanxi focuses on showcasing new developments in local culture and industrial innovation. Some halls also display new cultural products such as unmanned smart vehicles, LED digital cinema systems, and digital publications.

The fair features exhibits from 12 countries and regions including Indonesia, Australia, and Russia, and 26 provinces in China.
