North China's Shanxi province recently recognized 744 professional, innovative and competitive small and medium-sized enterprises with strong growth potential in specific industries.

The number of recognized firms increased 113 percent year-on-year. 

Despite downward pressure on the economy and the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, Shanxi has provided services to promote the development of enterprises.

After cultivation, the number of professional, innovative and competitive enterprises with strong growth potential in specific industries and annual revenue of over 10 million yuan ($1.49 million) reached 1,046. 

There are currently 2,113 professional, innovative and competitive enterprises with strong growth potential in specific industries in the province.
