North China's Shanxi province has recently been expanding its industrial market in Lanzhou, a vital hub along the Silk Road in Northwest China's Gansu province.

The Shanxi delegation, composed of 18 local enterprises engaged in industries such as clean energy, new materials, food processing, agriculture and agricultural product R&D and processing, brought over 200 kinds of exhibits to the 28th China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair ongoing between July 7 and 11.

The 200-square-meter Shanxi exhibition hall at the fair has been broadcasting Shanxi image promos and showcasing the new layout of Shanxi's urban and rural areas and Taiyuan-Xinzhou Integrated Economic Zone, as well as 10 key industrial chains to be boosted.

This year's Lanzhou fair, jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and Gansu Provincial Government, is being held online and offline.

During the fair, forums, summits, economic and trade exhibitions, and negotiations among guest countries, provinces, and cities have been staged.
