Xiaoyi, a county-level city administered by Lyuliang in North China's Shanxi province, was recently re-confirmed as a national health city by National Health Commission.

This is the third time Xiaoyi has obtained the national honor since it first won the title in 2014. 

The title of national health city is the highest honor for urban health and sanitation work in China, an important part of a city's comprehensive quality, and one of the country's most important determiners of a city's reputation.

According to regulations, the Office of the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee has implemented the dynamic management of title evaluation and granting, reviewing qualifications every three years after granting titles.

This reconfirmation means that urban infrastructure construction in Xiaoyi has developed rapidly. The local ecology and living environment have been continuously optimized and living standards have been improved.
