Shanxi invests 71.1b yuan in transport infrastructure

North China's Shanxi province has been focusing on building up its transport infrastructure since the beginning of this year. 

By the end of November, the province had completed 71.1 billion yuan ($11.19 billion) in transportation fixed assets investment, a year-on-year increase of 16 percent.

A total of 32.4 billion yuan has been invested in highway projects: 15.4 billion yuan on national and provincial highways, and 23.2 billion yuan on rural roads and transportation stations.
