Shanxi demo zone to boost headquarters economy

The Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone in North China's Shanxi province recently issued a circular of incentives to introduce and incubate clusters of enterprises in the headquarters economy. 

The circular consists of support targets, support policies, policy implementation, and supplementary provisions. 

The targets are mainly newly introduced and settled headquarters enterprises in the modern service and retail industries and those able to be industrial enterprises above designated size, construction enterprises with qualification level, wholesale and retail catering enterprises above designated size, and national key service enterprises within their first year after setting up operation in the zone. 

The supporting policies include rewards for the establishment and contributions of newly-introduced headquarters enterprises, subsidies for office space, and talent rewards. 

For settlement rewards, headquarters enterprises will be awarded a maximum of 95 percent of their contribution to the zone's finances in the first two years from the date of registration, and the annual maximum award is 100 million yuan ($15.53 million).
