North China's Shanxi province had four projects selected on the list of 2021 pilot demonstration projects for big data industry development, recently announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The list consists of 204 projects in the fields of industrial big data applications, key big data products, data management and services. 

The announcement of the list reportedly aims to encourage companies to explore breakthroughs in data collection, storage, processing, analysis, service and security. 

The list also aims to accelerate the in-depth application of big data in industry, finance, medical care and emergency management.
