Hundreds of political advisers and deputies arrived in Taiyuan city, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on Jan 18 to attend the upcoming Shanxi provincial two sessions.

The 12th Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) -- the top political advisory body in Shanxi province -- started its fourth session on Jan 19. CPPCC Shanxi Committee members will submit proposals concerning education, transport and healthcare to the CPPCC Shanxi Committee during the session.

The fourth session of the 13th People's Congress of Shanxi province will start on Jan 20. More than 500 deputies will attend to give suggestions and propose motions on Shanxi's socio-economic development and people's livelihoods to the congress.
