Shanxi seeks to expand intl platform at CIIE

The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) is underway in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10. The event has 152 participating countries, regions, and international organizations, including a record number of Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders.

To attract global attention on this international stage, North China's Shanxi province is using innovative digital technology to create an immersive exhibition hall that showcases the province's natural beauty, cultural heritage, history, and technological innovation.

At the CIIE, 24 time-honored national and Shanxi brands, intangible cultural heritage projects, and emerging Shanxi consumer companies present various high-quality products. These include Qinghua Fenjiu, Shanxi aged vinegar, Jinyun Tang iron kettles, and Qiaoshi Fahua ceramics, which aim to enhance their international influence through the expo.

Shanxi has also organized four provincial-level supporting events and 19 other activities, including investment negotiations, cultural displays, and research tours. These activities have facilitated the province's comprehensive exchanges and cooperation with partners outside Shanxi and China.
