Project promotion held in Pingyao

The 2024 Chinese New Year Project Promotion Conference for Returned Shanxi Merchants was held on Feb 13 in Pingyao county, Jinzhong city in North China's Shanxi province. 

The conference invited representatives of Jinzhong-born entrepreneurs that are living outside of their hometown, as well as representatives from the Jinzhong Chamber of Commerce and entrepreneurs from other areas to attend. The aim of this event was to further strengthen external exchanges and cooperation, promote investment attraction and talent introduction, and facilitate the return and development of Jinzhong entrepreneurs.

Chang Shuming, Party secretary of Jinzhong, said that the county has a rich cultural heritage and talent pool. It also offers ample market opportunities, investment potential, and overall development prospects. Chang emphasized that the city will spare no effort in promoting signed projects and providing precise services and government support to local enterprises. 

A total of 12 projects were signed during the conference, with a combined investment of 13.14 billion yuan ($1.83 billion).
