Pingyao launches English training for tourism employees

Pingyao county in North China's Shanxi province launched a collaborative training program with schools on to Jan 15 help realize its goal of becoming an international tourism destination. 

In an effort to further enhance the comprehensive skills of employees in its tourism sector and empower Pingyao's high-quality development, the county has partnered with the China Australia Business College of Shanxi and the Shanxi Jinzhong Institute of Technology to regularly conduct English oral training. 

The training, using the small-group teaching format, targets over 200 staff members from Pingyao Ancient City Scenic Area Management Co and Pingyao Jiurui Hotel Management Co. 

In addition to general English and cross-cultural communication, the training program also includes practical English lessons that are tailored to the daily work of Pingyao's tourism employees. Through classroom learning and situational simulations, they will be able to apply their English language skills effectively in their daily work.
