Pingyao improves transportation infrastructure

In 2023, Pingyao county in North China's Shanxi province has made great efforts to advance its transportation infrastructure construction, focusing on key transportation support projects. 

A total of 15 key road construction projects, with a total investment of 200 million yuan ($28.10 million), have been implemented in Pingyao. 

Among them are three ongoing projects: the Qiaonan Road reconstruction project, the Dongxia Road-Jingling Road project, and the Lucun-Nanguandi Road project. These projects have a combined length of 13.1 kilometers. 

Two completed projects of note were part of the Taihang No 1 tourist highway project, and had a total length of 29.1 km. 

Pingyao will continue to expand and optimize county and township roads, gradually filling in the gaps in the local transportation sector.
