An investment negotiation meeting between enterprises, businesspeople of Taiwan and the city of Jinzhong in North China's Shanxi province was held on April 3 in Pingyao county, which is administered by Jinzhong. 

Wei Jiangfeng, Party secretary of Pingyao county, said at the meeting that Pingyao has a thousand-year-old culture, strong development prospects, a superior business environment, convenient transportation, complete infrastructure, leading agriculture, many industrial categories, and rich cultural tourist attractions, and warmly welcomes all to invest in the county.

Jinzhong, an important birthplace of Chinese civilization, is home to many famous development zones. Last year, the city's GDP exceeded 200 billion yuan ($29.10 billion).

In recent years, the city has continued to increase its efforts to attract investment from Taiwan, deepened cross-Straits cultural exchanges, and created a market-oriented and international business environment, providing efficient and high-quality services for enterprises. It is seeking to attract more Taiwan enterprises to invest and develop in Jinzhong and share in development opportunities.
