Market entities surge in Shanxi

The total of various market entities in North China's Shanxi province increased 25.22 percent (3.85 million) year-on-year as of the end of October.

Among them, were 1.03 million enterprises, which is a 16.68 percent increase from 2021; 2.72 million individual industrial and commercial operators, a 29.85 percent increase; and 97,400 farmers' professional cooperatives, a 2.82 percent increase from the previous year.

There were 362,700 market entities engaged in the primary industry, 309,700 in the secondary industry, and 3.18 million in the tertiary industry. 

From January to October, 894,700 market entities registered in the province. For October alone, 77.46 percent of the newly registered market entities operated in wholesale and retail trade, accommodation and catering, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery, water conservancy, environment and public facilities management sectors.
