The Palace Museum Cultural Innovation Center in Pingyao county, North China's Shanxi province, is an institution affiliated with the Palace Museum in Beijing. It is located near the Ancient City of Pingyao, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site with a history of around 2,700 years. 

The center is committed to spreading the culture of the Forbidden City, selling cultural creative products themed around the Forbidden City, and designing and creating Pingyao Gift products as travel souvenirs together with the local government based on Pingyao’s culture.

In addition, the center provides cultural creative exchange platforms for tourists and industry insiders by offering cultural lectures, exhibitions, and study tours, thus making itself a cultural creative communication hub in Pingyao and Shanxi.
