Pingyao advances tourism and navigation project

Pingyao county and CCCC Fenhe Investment Holding Co recently held a discussion on the ecological management, tourism and navigation project of the county's Huiji River.

The two sides exchanged and discussed the cooperation model, content and business plans for the project.

The project includes navigation tourism and cruise-themed product development, as well as the construction of corridors on both sides of Huiji River and surrounding ecological landscape belts. 

Once operational, the project will connect the convention and exhibition area in the eastern part of the county's Ancient City of Pingyao with Tianlu Lake Hot Spring Resort, Kangyang Hospital, Pingyao Film and Television Training Base and Huawei Big Data Center in the Fenhe River wetland.

The project will help Pingyao develop itself into a global tourism city.
