Pingyao opens telemedicine center

The telemedicine center of the Pingyao People's Hospital officially opened on June 9 in Pingyao county. 

The center signed a telemedicine cooperation agreement with Peking Union Medical College Hospital.

The two sides will engage in telemedicine through clinical graphic sharing, remote video conferencing, and medical equipment interconnection so that people in Pingyao can enjoy high-quality medical services in their hometown.

This year, Pingyao has been strengthening the development of medical disciplines and using 5G technology to carry out telemedicine with high-quality hospitals in China in an effort to improve medical treatment for locals.
