Pingyao holds promotion during Expo Central China

The Pingyao Promotion Conference of the 12th Expo Central China was held on May 23 in Pingyao county, North China's Shanxi province.

The event aimed to recruit top people and promote the high-quality economic development of Pingyao by making full use of the advantages of the Expo Central China's platform, brand and customer resources.

The conference featured a detailed promotion on the county's cultural tourism, foundry industry, agricultural sector and the Pingyao Economic and Technological Development Zone. It also plugged its investment policies, business environment, location and transportation and human resources.

Pingyao businesses held talks and exchanges with 11 businesses and associations from Southwest China's Chongqing and South China's Guangzhou city -- including the Shanxi Jinzhong Chamber of Commerce in Chongqing and Lehe Food Group Co in Guangzhou.

Wu Xiaohua, Party chief of Pingyao, said that it was hoped that in the wake of the promotion, businesspeople from outside the county would understand, invest in and profit from ventures in Pingyao. 

She also urged attendees to forge deals involving the manufacturing, food and building materials industries in particular.
