COVID-19 prevention rules for trans-provincial travel in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions during Spring Festival

To cope with the challenging situation of epidemic prevention and control, Shanxi province released rules for trans-provincial travel. People from different risk-level areas have to abide by the following requirements or possess the following materials when traveling to the province:

To Taiyuan, Shanxi province

From low-risk areas in Hebei province: a negative nucleic acid test report conducted within 72 hours; people unable to provide a report should immediately take a seamless and hermetic nucleic acid test followed by a 14-day home quarantine and medical observation.

From other low-risk areas: a green health code and a digital travel record, report to their administrative division.

From medium-risk areas: a 14-day home quarantine or isolated observation when the conditions for home observation can't be met, two nucleic acid tests.

From high-risk areas: a 14-day isolated observation, two nucleic acid tests.
